Same yardstick for everyone.
Every fund below is measured from its own published NAVs — full windows, drawdowns included, no favorable snapshots. Then we hold ourselves to the same standard and label what kind of number each one is.
Sorted by the only fair column: Sharpe.
Raw returns reward whoever took the most risk in a bull market. Return per unit of risk is the honest ranking.
| Fund / portfolio | Type | Total return | CAGR | Volatility | Max drawdown | Sharpe ↓ |

Mutual funds: LIVE NAV data (Direct-Growth plans, source api.mfapi.in), 5-year window where history allows, else since inception. CompoundQuant rows: MODEL — walk-forward out-of-sample net of estimated costs, with residual survivorship bias disclosed in Method. Model and live numbers are different kinds of evidence; we show both honestly rather than hiding either. None of these figures is PaRRVA-verified; educational comparison only.
What the brochures said. What the NAVs say.
Every claim below is checkable from public NAV data. This is the reading skill we teach in Learn, applied.
Pick a fund. Same chart, same scale.
Both series rebased to 1 at the common start of the overlapping window. Model vs live caveat applies as above.
